We’re once again offering you another great, all-inclusive weekend at Arendsig in Robertson…’cause it seems you guys just can’t get enough!

Join us for the last one of the season before the weather turns chilly, and enjoy two days of delicious food and exceptional wine…all in the most gorgeous setting. 

Friday

Friday’s dinner will be a culinary treat for the palate. A five course menu plus canapes, specially designed by Chef Matt to show off the seasonal ingredients, will be expertly paired with Arendsig’s collection of handcrafted wines. 

Dinner is served in the old Arendsig cellar surrounded by vineyards, while the stars – unobstructed by city lights – light up the valley. 

After dinner, enjoy some more wine if you fancy, before heading back to your simple yet comfy self-catering cottage. 

Saturday 

Have a lie-in – or even a quick dip in the river! – before meeting back at the tasting area at 10.30am for a hearty brunch. Later that afternoon, we will have a private wine tour & barrel tasting with winemaker Lourens van der Westhuizen, who will show us exactly what makes his single vineyard and Inspirational Batch wines so unique. 

At 6pm we meet back at the tasting area and Lourens takes us for sundowners in the vineyard, while Matt tends to the firepit and the braai. Later that evening we feast al fresco style – and prepare yourself for something special…it’s definitely not your run-of-the-mill braai!

Sunday 

Enjoy a light breakfast before returning home…we guarantee you’ll be well fed & watered (but probably not all that well rested…things have been known to get festive!)

Date: Friday 31 March – Sunday 2 April
Place: Arendsig wine farm, R317, between Robertson and Bonnievale
Check in between 2pm and 7pm on Friday. Dinner will be served at 8pm.
Check out before 1pm on Sunday.
Cost: R1850 pp sharing

– 5 course dinner (plus canapes) & wine pairing on Friday 
– Brunch, wine tour & braai on Saturday
– Light breakfast on Sunday
– Basic self-catering accommodation (converted farm cottages) on Fri & Sat
